Provided voip service to this company.  We provided a 3.0 meg fiber circuit, 20 voip phones with unlimited nationwide long distance, 20 headsets, 10 dell computers, unlimited support and setup @ $1500 / month.  He was paying $1500 / month for just the voice and data before so we were actually saving him a ton of money.  The customer paid for a few months and then stopped paying us.  We contacted him and he gave a sad story about not having the money to pay us.  after the first 12 months he had not paid for over 6 months and we shut off his service.  He made a payment arrangement to get his service turned back on.  Again didn't pay or keep the arrangement.  We told him that we wanted to just let him go to another provider and we were going to get our equiptment and let him transition to another company.  He then got hostile and said that since we shut him off for non payment, it ruined his business and he was closing down.  We found out that he was really getting evicted from his office and that was really why he was moving.  When we asked to get our equiptment back, (about $7k - $8k) of stuff, he told me that since we had shut him off and put him out of business he was suing us for $20,000 and that he was keeping our equiptment as compensation.  

We ended up calling the police and we met them at his new office.  We had our list of serial numbers in hand of all our equiptment but again he refused to give the equiptment back and said we would have to sue him to get it back.  So we are now prepairing a claim against him to go after the equiptment.  Long story short, do not do business with this guy.  He has no morals and will rip anyone off with out hesitation.
