Thiks company has a banner on their website advertising free shipping on all domestic orders over $200. I made several attempts to order a cargo carrier priced at almost $500. Upon checkout the site kept trying to add a $115 shipping charge. I called the company several times and always reached a voice mail box. I left a couple messages and after two days a gentleman called me back. I explained the situation and he said he would check into it and get back to me. That was two days ago and he never called back. Today I went to their website and looked up the item I tried to order and discovered that they had added a disclaimer to all the products from the manufacturer of the product that I had tried to buy stating that the free shipping was unavailabe on Stowaway products. To recap, instead of helping me order the product with free shipping, the company switched their policy.

Contrarary to what the responder stated, a gentlemen did call me and when I explained that I needed assistance placing an order he stated he would look into the situation and get back to me. He never gave an explaination of a shipping policy and he never got back to me. Two days later they changed the info on their website to reflect the policy they now claim was in effect. They also don't have the best price as I found the item elsewhere for about $94 less including shipping. This company is definitely not ready for "prime time".

Customer was called back immediately after the weekend he left voice mails and was told specifically large freight items do not qualify and this is explained on the link to the free shipping banner. The Banner link is broken, which we apologized for. To help other future customers understand our long standing policy on Stowaway and Hummer H2 3rd row seating, we updated the specific product pages so its obvious to all, not just when you look at the shopping cart.
Customer is given the correct information up front with NO COST to him. He never placed an order, but we still offer the best overall cost for this item on the web.
As a small business we can not be held responsible for clarical errors/website errors by 3rd party webmasters we hire to maintain our site. We are upfront and told customer we can not sell a $400 cargo box that has $115 shipping charges and give that shipping for free. This would be less than what we pay for item. Businesses are not in the practice to be held to extortion, loose money and thus be ripped off ourselves. We will offer the best overall prices we can. We give all upfront information that we can not sell below our cost when the shipping costs where clearly shown before purchasing. We were sorry for any delays with answering your questions.
