When the first thing I heard from these guys is "don't pay attention to anything on the internet",  I probably should have listened to my instincts and ran the other way.    But the Brokers involved in this deal assured me that the postings were not true and this was a legit deal (more on the brokers coming in future posts).   They told me they had an "inside guy" at the company that could verify this was a legit deal.   I am not sure how deep this fraud runs but  time will tell who is behind it, who enabled it and who got suckered into it.

Here is what I know for certain:   1) they got four loan deposits of $15,000 each for four different projects.   2) It has been a year since the first deposit.   3) The Engagement Agreement stated a 10 day close and a fully refundable deposit if they did not.  4) It has been over a year with no closing.   5) I have sent numerous cancellation requests over the past 90 days for return of deposits.   6) I have gotten NO response to any of the requests 7) I have spoken to numerous other borrowers that are in the same situation.   Net Life can NOT point to one loan ever closed or one deposit ever returned.   8) We have filed a lawsuit against Net Life Financial and Ray Wicken.   Stay tuned for results!

Here are my assumptions of what is going on:   1) This was a scam from the very beginning when Anthony Baratta was the front man for the company from 2013 to 2016.   2) Ray Wicken picked this up in 2016 when he needed money after being thrown out of his house and  the Extended Stay America hotel room.   3) Ray Wicken then suckers in a bunch of brokers to find deals for him and send deposits.    The deposits get wired in and Ray sucks them out as fast as they hit the account.   4) The Brokers realize this is a scam but too scared of the repurcussions of admitting it to their clients so they go along with it for as long as possible while trying to figure out what to do.

My predictions of what will happen next:  1) Net Life and Ray Wicken will default on this lawsuit.    2) We subpoena the account called NLF Transactional Holdings where the money went.   3) The people that have taken these deposits and put the money in their pocket will be exposed and the judicial system will determine their punishment.   4) The Brokers will then be held accountable for their negligence.     If you are one of the few hundred borrowers  that have been scammed by these guys and want more information, email me - netlifefinancialscam@gmail.com

Net Life Financial / Ray Wicken update

AUTHOR: Cw - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, November 15, 2018

Both Net Life and Ray Wicken have defaulted on the lawsuit filed in Washington DC court.   The summons for the bank records is coming soon.   I'm certain Ray Wicken is sucking out deposits just as fast as they hit the account.   Since the last posting, numerous others have come forth to share their stories about being sucked into the same scam.  I will post results when I get them.    netlifefinancialscam@gmail.com
