Upon signing up and getting the first batch of six (6) ALL of them where bogus leads. I reported this to NetQuote so they can confirm themselves. I had to call NetQuote each time they gave a lead, as each lead had either a Bad Phone or Wrong Info! When I had a correct number the person I called stated: "You're the 10th person who as called me; I'm not looking for insurance and hung up on me.
After dealing with NetQuote they have attempted to charge my credit card for BOGUS leads, DESPITE being told they where no good. They too confirmed the leads where bad! Whenever I emailed them they attempted to charge my card again, even today.
Finally spoken with a person who calls himself B.J a collection person who was nothing but rude and obnoxious, stating I still owe $60, but will offer a settlement of $44.00 I refused to pay stating ALL LEADS WHERE FALSE LEADS! B.J's reply: "Well, either pay or have your credit and insurance appointments affected." I stated this is WRONG and ILLEGAL! B.J. only smirked and stated he was not going to remove said charges. They want me to pay for something they DID NOT PROVIDE!
When I inquired further today as to the FALSE billing for BAD LEADS; he writes the following to me via email:
I don't want to rehash it with you Michael, I don't think we'll ever see eye to eye. Take care.

Let each of us suing Netquote, report to http://ftc.gov/ Federal Trade Commissioner and Better Business Bureua http://bbb.org and let's do this in two months period starting from August 2011. We don't want to let this idling too long, raise our voice to FTC and BBB. I am sure NetQuote will be shutdown legally.
I will do my part to complain NetQuote to FTC and BBB. Just simply reporting on this website won't help much. Together, all NetQuote victims must stand strong together.

Had similar experience, they are punks who laugh in your face and deny anything that you
previously informed them....also their leads are pure crap! It is a scam, they
sell leads 50 times over, and its a churning operation by lazy a*s arrogant
computer geeks. Just fill out one of these on line requests and watch your phone ring off the hook. what a waste of time!

I filed with the BBB and they attempt to evade by stating my case is with the wrong company. This is an OUTRAGE! NetQuote's actions are criminal and unethical!!!! They think they can get away from complaints by stating "Case Against Wrong Company-Notify Consumer." is acceptable?
They knowingly charged me in error and rather than doing what is right they now shun BBB responses with: Case Against Wrong Co-Not Forwarded to BBB You will need to contact the collection agency regarding this issue." sue 04/01/2009
My VALID and LEGAL dispute was NOT long passed. I clearly and in plain english made my dispute known to them more than 90-days ago. Yet they snickered If I did not pay, despite the charges be INVALID!
I will be taking this higher. NetQuote feels most agents will succumb to any unethical charges NetQuote imposes!
NeQuote you're operating in unethical ways and I will expect to not only have these charges erased from my credit report, if they appear. You will also be paying for my attorney fees and time having to deal with this ILLEGAL game you play with agents nationwide.
