My husband recently received a lovely letter fro Neuheisel Law Firm stating that they were taking over the collections for a Maryland National Bank, N.A. to the tune of $1409.46.

I can honestly say that we have gotten behind on a few of our credit cards, but I do know exactly how much and which cards we owe on. WE HAVE NEVER EVER EVER HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH MARYLAND NATIONAL BANK.

Not only that, but he has never even lived in Maryland to have an account with them. We live in Pennsylvania where we have a lovely bank called PNC!

I looked up Neuheisel because knowing that no such account existed by my family, I immediately thought this was just a con. Unfortunately, this is a REAL law firm with REALLY TERRIBLE business tactics. If you receive any letter from these guys, don't immediately send them money!
