On January 28, 2013, I placed an order (Order No. 15630) with New Audio & Video, an online audio and video electronics retailer.  As on June 2, 2013, my order is still "pending."  My January credit card statement showed a charge for $734.10 - the cost of the speakers, for which I am paying interest on.  I've sent New Audio & Video numerous emails asking them to ship my product.  

I've also called them on at least 5 different occasions inquiring about my order.  First, the product was backordered.  Then they somehow "missed" my order when the product arrived and had to re-order the product.  Next, the product would be sent out in "a week."  Excuses.  Nothing but excuses.  Either they don't have the product or they never intended on fulfilling the order because unless the speakers have been discontinued there is no excuse for a 5 month wait.

Correction - New Audio & Video DID NOT Take My Money

 After posting my initial report I received a telephone call from a representative for New Audio & Video.  The representative apologized for failing to fulfill my order and explained to me that my credit card was never billed.  He said that the charge that appeared on my credit card was merely an authorization inquiry and not an actual charge.

I contacted my credit card company and confirmed what the New Audio & Video representative had told me: my credit card had a pending $734 authorization for the price of the speakers, but this authorization was cancelled after 30 days because the order was never filled.  Consequently, my initial report is incorrect because I was never charged the $734 and never had to pay credit card interest on this amount.
