we went to this agency DEC 12 2010 my daughter's mother was approached just like all the other people here who reported in the mall. THEY said she had the look he he they were looking for when approached a couple weeks back.
they took my daughter's mother's number and called her to set up an appointment. we went and saw a lot of kids with their parents. IT was very busy and disorganized. THAT should of been a red flag. we had an appointment for 2pm
we weren't called in until 2pm very unprofessional they have a sales rep Joel tavarez talk to us about this was the time because its Xmas to get work. THEY SHOW YOU a book of children supposedly had made it for commercials and print work. than very quickly and sneaky slips you pics and prices of head shots and outfit pics that have to be taken.
of course the prices are incredible! my daughter's mother said why should we pay for pics if they say she has the so called look they were looking for? they say the pics have to be professional and by the way they weren't. my daughter's mother's sister takes better pics.
ME TRYING TO Negotiate a price because they wanted 750 for the pics and one outfit and i told them it was too much! I said if u really believe in her than give me a better deal so he steps outside the office the whole f#%cking thing is a setup he gets the manager he comes in and says yes she's got the look and we neg for $400.
HE tells me not to tell the other parents because its a special deal he's giving me james was his name. they set this up that each time you sit in the office you have to pay as you go like monopoly but this is your hard earned money. you have to come back so you can pick the best 5 pics. but what they don't tell you is not only you have to pay 45 for the copyrights and release but you have to pay for composite cards ranging from up to 2000 these sorry excuse for people think money grows on trees. I WAS ALREADY ON TO THEM when the second sales rep was trying to get me to sign the deal and again calls the manager in when he can't close the deal but this time.
I SAID NOWAY they kept pressuring me when I'll come back and said i'll call them hehe i asked him how much he got for commission could he sign after he said he could guarantee work and he starts sweating and getting nervous because I TOLD HIM IT DOESN'T matter what he thinks but what the client wants he agreed. bottom line is these are a bunch of cold calculating crooks but don't worry karma is a b***h. THAT HARD EARNED money you took won't last and i will have a suit against you sorry excuses for humans.
