New Horizons Matthew Plasencia Loan Modification Scam Hialeah, Florida

I received a flyer in the mail for a loan modification. I called them and got a recording then was called back a week later. The man who called me said he was an attorney, and went by the name Matthew Plasencia.  He said he worked as a loan person for Well Fargo for years. He said he could modify my loan and get a principal reduction. They would guarantee it. they just needed 1/2 up front then the remaining half when they started. If I was not satisfied, they would refund the money.

I did some research on the company, and found serveral complaints. he was using the the name Manny Plasencia. I called him and asked him about reports. I asked him who Manny was, and he said he never heard of him. I told him about he rip off reports I read, and he said that that is not us.
 He would look into it. He said we are The New Horizons Financial Group from Canton Oh, with affiliates in Las Vegas as well.
 When I looked at the rip off reports, both the phone number and address matched his.  I also called the New Horizon Financial Group in Canton, and they have never heard him.
He also claims to be barred in the state of NY. I looked up the NY Bar, and he could not be found.
This guy is a total fraud.
I am so glad I did not give him any $$$$!
