New Leaf Associates James Patterson, Quantum Business Consultants, Tom Spiller, Ripoff Scammed thousands of people touting that they would eliminate credit card debt and/or student loans with financial institutions and clean up your credit ratings. Port Richey Florida

I was one of many who have been scammed by James Patterson, owner of New Leaf Associates, LLC and also Tom Spiller who is owner of Quantum Business Consultants (the official marketing arm of NLA). I paid $3,795 to have 6 credit cards eliminated, satisfied in full to the creditor by receiving a $0 balance & no further obligation to said institution. I entered the program last October (2004) and now face financial ruin & a slaughtered credit report. I do not blame NLA for my debt, but do blame them for stealing my money and not refunding me the advance fee they took due to not performing services on my account. They never could, it was all a scam. The Florida state Attorney General is in process of sueing Patterson & his scam artist friend Tom Spiller.

The FBI is also on the case & hopefully will bring forth criminal charges, as the Attorney General is only bringing civil. I highly doubt any of NL's victims will see their money again, but restitution is what I seek just knowing that they were put behind bars for stealing millions of dollars from people just trying to get ahead in life with a fresh start, legally & without bankruptcy.
