New Me Surgical Institute - Shane Shabani Horrible Service! Los Angeles California

I had a procedure done about 4 years ago, I'm writing because I am now looking for a new surgeon to fix the mistakes that Shane Shabani made. Let me first say the only time I saw him was at the initial consultation and he spent most of the time looking in the mirror at himself. I should have know something was fishy when he came in with all the yellow gold on.

Anyway I had the consultation done and I went with him because my cousin had just had hers done and they look great, except the fact that they didn't give her the support bra and then made her pay and extra $100 dollars for one. Well I originally had my surgery scheduled for sometime in October and the day before my surgery they called to tell me that they noticed some glands in my breast they wanted me to have checked out even though I had the mammogram done a month before hand so that was nerve racking. Once the day of my surgery came I only saw him for two seconds as I fell asleep under the anesthesia. When I came to I was lying in a bed in a freezing cold room the nurse came in asked me if I had gotten my prescription filled which I did, she then began to ask me why I didn't have any vicodine I told her that is what they gave me to fill before I came she laughed and told me that I was going to be in much more pain then the Soma (muscle relaxants) could help with. So she wrote me a prescription for vicodine. They wheeled me out into the parking garage where my friend who is a nurse had her car waiting.

We then had to drive to a pharmacy to pick up my prescription that I should have already had, not to mention I was still drugged up from the anastesia. The real horror began after my surgery with my follow up visits I would have to sit in the waiting room for hours waiting even though I had an appointment I went in to have my stitches removed (as I was told at the previous appointment ). The girl walked in roled her eyes grabed my chart looked at it and says " you had the lipo right" with my chart in her hand I was like are you kidding me. Then some short little old man comes in and looks he takes out what I thought was my only set of stitches them mumbles something under his breath and says "He put in two sets of stitches so you will have to come back next week to remove the other set I don't know why he did that but these are to deep to remove right now" keep mind you I'm driving to Wilshire Blvd in LA at 4pm on a weekday from Orange County

The following week I return and I am sitting in the crowded waiting room for two hours by the time I got in the room I was furious, the nurse takes my blood pressure and tells me its high I'm thinking gee I wonder why. He then takes what looks like a pair of pliers wraps one piece of the stitch around in and pulls them out I nearly punched his lights out. I was so angry I left and never wanted to go back again.

Now five years later I still have tiny holes where the stitches where and a huge scar on one breast that I'm sure will never go away.

I beleive that doctor Shabani is a money hungry Dr., who doesn't care anything about his patients or the work he performs. I would never ever recommend anyone I know to even go to him for a consultation
