I phoned this store looking for a used washing machine. The owner (I think his name is Frank) told me a price. He had only one price for all washers? I read on the business website that they do trades & I have 3 used dryers & one used washer. At this point, he just started talking to someone else without asking me to hold or asking if he could get back to me at a more convenient time. I was forced to lister to him being rude to someone for about 3 minutes. Just when I thought he must have thought he hung up with me, he came back and I had to start the whole transaction over
He asked about my used appliances but interrupted everything I was saying with another question. He asked what I wanted for the items I have. i said I was hoping to trade them all toward a used washer & I had no idea of their worth. I stated he is the expert & I would entertain his offer. He wouldn't deal with me at all. He just kept telling me my used appliances were worth very little if they didn't work. I told him numerous times one of the dryers does work but it's gas & I have electric service for a dryer. He talked over me every time I tried to speak. I said if he isn't interested, he should just tell me. He continued to ramble but wouldn't even try to strike any type of deal. I was made to feel small and belittled.
It would seem he had no interest in making a sale let alone provide decent customer service. It seems funny that every used machine is the same price? He didn't even say what kind of machines he has. Writing this review, I realize this doesn't sound near as awful as it was. I wish I could have taped our conversation as if it was audible, I don't think any one would even chance walking into his store if they knew how this man receives possible clients! I would have gone to see what he had on his floor regardless of my trade options but having had the chance to interact with him per telephone, I wouldn't step foot in there now. Guess I'll look elsewhere & if nothing else, I'll buy retail!

My side of any deal is by my point of view, as a customer I want a real good cheap deal, as a sales person I want a good deal with reasonable profit. I am 64 years old, and have worked since I was 14 years old. Over my years I bought and sold all my life. It takes active personnal communication to make a good deal. I just bought a washer from Frank and Dave of New Milford Refrigeration, made a good deal with delivery. Installation was very difficult and Frank spoke his opinion and his thoughts. I understand hard work, and opinions expressed. I took no offence at the words or the damages done during the install. I would still buy from them, but I will work each deal. I recommed New Milford Refigeration.
