New Millennium Bank you cant use interest you earn to pay your yearly user fee.try to cancel you still pay user fee Hicksville New York

I havent used my card for 2 years tried to cancel it last year. I got a $59.oo user fee and called to ask why and if i could pay it with my interest ive earned I was told no that stayes with the account. I said i want to cancel it then .I just got the bill today.they want to deduct the $59 fee from my money. Ive faxed them my written cancelation they say its gonna take 10 weeks to get my money, Why should i pay them to keep my prepayed money for a card i dont use. My money is better off in a bank earning interest I can use.I hope this dosent hurt my credit ive worked so hard to get.After all its my money i deposited.
