One of my bank accounts here in Hawaii where I spend the winter had two $50.00 charges for two subscriptions to Wine Specator Magazine presumably at the direction of New Subscription Services agency that I did not authorize. The charges were just a few days apart. I have no idea how anyone could get my bank account number and it has taken me some time to figure out just what happened. Wine Spectator has returned to my account part of the amounts taken out. Again how Wine Spectator got my bank account number is unknown. I have received from Wine Spectator two payments. One for $18.75 and the other for $21.87. Obviously I am still owed $31.25 for the balance on one subscription and $21.87 on the other. When I called the number given me an individual said that someone would call me within a few days. No one has called and it has been over a week.
