As I see from many other ripoff report writes I have succumbed to the same scam that New Vitality has been running on their customers.  I recently noticed a charge to my bank account from New Vitality for an order of Beta Prostate.  I was surprised by it because, even though, it was time to order, I NEVER setup something online for a recurring charge.  At about the same time New Vitality emailed me two special offers which could have resulted in obtaining an extra bottle of the product had I been able to use them.  This was not possible because the "auto order" mechanism, which I repeat I HAD NOT COMPLETED in my previous order, had kicked in and my new order (NOT ORDERED BY ME) was being shipped.  I called the order number on their website, which, by the way seems to change often, and was told that I had to talk to Customer Service.  I was told not to call them for 20 minutes as they were on dinner break.  This seemed strange to me as I would think customer service would be a 24/7 operation.  Nevertheless I waited the requisite 20 minutes and went immediately to voice mail.  I was told to leave my number and a representative would call within 48 hours.  That was, at this writing, 10 days ago.  I have yet to receive a call.

I called my banker to have the charge reversed and see if that would get someone's attention.  My banker told me that they couldn't reverse the charge, according to their Acctg. Dept. because there might be a "contract" on file at New Vitality saying I authorized the auto order feature.  I have been on NV website to try to cancel an auto order function even under the My Account section and it does not exist.  My banker & I called the order number and asked for a "live" customer service representative.  We were given a different CSR number than the one I was given 10 days ago and, guess what?, we got voice mail.  We called the order number again and demanded to talk to a "live person" in CS.  We were told our request would be put in as "Urgent", gave them my cell phone number, and waited for a call back.  That was 24 hours ago now and still no callback from CS.

This auto order feature must be something new and unapparent in the ordering function because I have been ordering and using Beta Prostate for a couple years now and have never encountered this problem.   I like the product as it seems to do what it is advertised as doing.  Why NV has decided to scam their good customers, as well as ALL their customers, by doing this to them not only  INFURIATES but BAFFLES me.

I am looking for a competitor's product.  And I will tell all my friends who ask me about this type of product and other products NV sells who the competitors are.  I just told a friend 3 days ago about (((REDACTED))) and how well it works and now I will be telling him about whatever competitor's product I find.  I will tell everyone and anyone who will listen to me to avoid NV at all costs due to this unscrupulous behavior.  They lack integrity and act like a company going out of business.  I personally will do mt part to help them achieve that goal.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! Auto Order on New Vitality Orders

AUTHOR: EJ2 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, January 05, 2012

I wrote an extensive ripoff report on this issue earlier today including the fact that I was not getting any responses from Customer Service to address this problem.  Maybe it's just a coincidence that less than an hour after I filed the ripoff report I FINALLY received that long overdue call.  I did an end around on them to get through as I redialed the number from which I received the call rather than calling the 800# I have been using over the last 10 days.  The number I called is 1-631-777-7767 and I suggest if anyone wants to get through to CS they call this number instead.

What I was told about the auto order is that since I took advantage of a special reduced price offer I was automatically enrolled in the auto order function for 90 days later.  When I tried to explain to the less than friendly and rather arrogant CS jerk is that indeed I was enrolled and the process is very clear that I would be put on auto order if I ordered at the special offer price.  I told the CSR that this was not at all clear and that I suspect he heard this same complain often.  His responses seemed to me to be very well rehearsed.  One thing led to another and the CSR basically thanked me for calling and hung up after I told him that NV was operating like a company that wants to go out of business and that I will do whatever in my limited way I can do to help them achieve that goal.  He was noT at all concerned about that comment.  Hmmmmmmmmmm...  perhaps they really DO want to go out of business!!!!!  Let's help them make that happen shall we!!!!

Let the buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am washing my hands of New Vitality and I suggest all others do the same thing!!!
