First let me preface this email by stating that I believe that the individuals involved do not understand that they have fallen prey to a multi-level marketing scam. New York Client Solutions and Red Ten NYC (now defunct) are "marketing" companies that prey on new college graduates and people who need money quickly. The have offices on 6th avenue in NYC and now New Jersey. The office in Manhattan is owned (not managed) by Colin Moore. The office is work space shared with several 'marketing' companies operated by Colin's mentor Tommy Smith of Red Te. They are a scam of the DS-Max/Cydcor variety. The scam begins like this:
1) You are called in for an interview within 24 hours of applying.
2) They invite you into the office where loud music is playing. There's a shabby tv next to the reception area where a receptionist makes you fill out an obligatory form that charts your careers goals.
3) You're called into interview with one of the so-called hiring managers. You'll realize later (if you're dumb enough to work there) that this is nothing but the middle of the pyramid pitching you to come work as their underling. The meeting will last 15 minutes with a lot of b.s. Basic questions and they spend 10 minutes pitching YOU their business plan.
4) You'll get called back in for an 'interview'. Which is actually an 8 hour shadow of going out into the field making door to door sales for energy or government cell-phones.
5) You'll get offered the job. Everyone who wants the job gets offered it. By this point most of the recruits are disinterested and the "corporate trainer" tells everyone the recruit is not up to snuff.
If you go through this process and get the job. Beware. It's long hours. From 10-8 you're out in bad neighborhoods making pushy sales deals with foreigners that don't understand English. You're immediately apart of a pyramid scheme that offers rapid advancement but rarely delivers. Most of your sales will not actually process because the other party can terminate the contract within a time frame. The environment is cult-like. Loud music, gongs and so called "teaching methods" that are all designed to keep your mind distracted from the truth thats in front of you. This isn't a multi-national corporation. It's a single company that acts in a pyramid.
High level and mid range employees include Colin Moore (chief scam artist), Tommy Smith, Stuart Gurney, Emily Hazzard, Nelson Hernandez, Yan Tai, Emmy, Ana Gonzalez, Matthew Leite and many others.
I belive that most of these people are good-hearted kids caught in a pyramid system that is not designed to let them out. Some of them, however, know exactly what this process can do. It can push some to the brink of bankruptcy. The work conditions are far from safe and the promises of money and fortune are fake.
