I have complied with the New York Child Support Enforcement demands for making payments on my child support arrearage for over 1 year. Never missing a payment as it is automaticly deducted from payroll.
On Jan 9, 2009, I went to withdraw money from my checking account which had a balance of around $800, only to find my bank account had been frozen. I went to my bank where I was notified how my account had been seized by the New York State Child Support Office.
Never was there a demand made by the New York Child Support Enforcement NOR by my ex-wife for any additional payments, or even a simple request made.
The actions committed by the New York Child Support Enforcement amounted to nothing more than theft of my personal property. Their actions left me with Zero money for me to buy food, purchase my blood pressure medicine, or to buy gas to drive to work, thus jeopardizing my employment, which in effect, also jeopordized the standard of living for my children.
If this is the action that you can expect from this rouge agency, I suggest that you take every measure to always be looking over your shoulder and hide all assets as they will be siezed without warning at anytime.

I agree these agencies are the closest thing to the gestapo there is . They allow false vidictive reports to be filed . As my ex continually did this just so should could ruin my business and life.12 years no problems and because i did not give up my parental rights she threatened to ruin me and did by abusing the system . Law in this country stinks . and by no means should it be considered law.$30000.00 later and I finally realized that what goes around will come around . and especially that half of nothing is nothing.....so I gave up everything after tired of working hard for what i had and live of the state now. I get to spend time with my wife and beautiful children now .that is the only good that came out of it. Tese facet of law is destroying childrens lives all over .
If there is a problem between parents then remove the children from both parties until it is resolved ......in essence most people would work out there differences rather than knowing they can leverage the child . If there is abuse lock 'em up plan and simple ... don't create another industry for blodsucking lawyers and gov't waste done at the expense of our children. My child is 16 years old now have not seen him in 2 years,since our 2 week vacation to key west together when his mother got ticked off because we came back a day late . He used to spend 50% or better w/ me . Court ordered vistation but mom denies same . I am tired of watsing time and money. My child will grow up someday and see us again . His mother will grow old and lonely . I have had several accounts seized and more but enough said here.
