We purchased our Newmark Home -New Built-November 2002.
We have a major complaint with all of the cabinet hinges that Newmark has put in our home.
About 3 months after getting settled in, one of our large kitchen cabinet door breaks off from the top hinge. We are under warranty and someone comes to make the repair. A couple of months later or so, a few more cabinet hinge break.
As our warranty is coming to the years end, we nearly had most of the cabinet doors litterly fall off. The hinges would snap as if they were, " like a wire coat hanger being bent back and forth", then "SNAP"!
Now, our warranty is up and most of the cabinets, if not all, we have had to install improper hinges, due to Newmark going out of business, as we have recently heard. We had to find some off the wall brand and with these installed, the cabinets do not meet in the middle when they close. There is a gap of at least 1/2 inch!
...And we thought we were investing into a "Quality Built Home"...huh!
Please let me know if someone out there knows where we now have to purchase the proper hinges.
I won't go into the many other "quality items", Newmark prides themselves on....that's a joke!
