My family has been suffering for years now because of my son’s addiction to drugs. We finally convinced him to seek help and go to a detox facility for the treatment. All of us were first overjoyed because of his decision and I personally went to this detox center called Neworld Medical Detox which referred us to the My Journey Center for Addiction and Recovery.
You could look up their website and would initially think that hey this is exactly the kind of rehab facility that I want my son to go to for treatment. They seemed legit at first and I wouldn’t blame you if you would choose them too just as I did. They were boasting about their detox programs and all kinds of empty nonsense.
It only took us 24 hours to discover how wrong our decision is to choose this rehab for our son’s treatment. The owner, Jacklyn, is one that would give you all sorts of promises and she is a sweet talker I’m telling you. She convinced us to come to their facility for my son’s detox program. The place is so dirty and messy and you would see that they lack the hygiene and proper maintenance as a basic practice.
I was so frustrated that our first attempt to get help ended up with these scammers. We were all high hopes at first but it turned out that they are just there to rip us off our money. Good thing we did not last longer than one day in that facility. Something in my gut is telling me that I needed to get my son out of that so-called rehab center right away. My son deserves better and this facility is so wrong in so many levels.
If you want proper treatment for your loved one who is suffering from substance abuse, My Journey rehab is never the right place to go to. It is a total waste of time and money and I’m afraid your patient would get worse when they go out than they were when they got in. Choose another rehab facility if you really want to help your loved one with drug abuse treatment. This facility sucks big time!
