News Max Franklin Prosperity Ordered book from Newsmax on CNN. Did not order newsletters from Franklin Prosperity. Franklin took $49.00 out of my account with no authorization. Had to close the account. West Palm Beach, Florida

I ordered a book "Aftershock" from NewsMax on CNN. I unchecked the box which asked if I wanted to order newsletters. The newsletters started coming anyway, spamming my mail box. NewsMax Emails me, so I Emailed them back telling them to stop spamming me with newsletters I did not order. I told them I was not going to pay for the newsletters, as I did not order them. I got no response. On October 13, Franklin Prosperity (which must be a NewsMax subsidiary or associate) because they were one of the spammers,  debited my checking account for $49.00. I tried calling the number on the transaction to tell them to stop the newsletters, but only got an answering machine. These people stole $49.00 from my bank account when they had no authorization from me to do so. The Authors of "Aftershock", which was the lure for the scam are: David Wiedemer, PhD, Robert A Wiedemer, and Cindy Spitzer. I would like to get my $49.00 back, but I suppose there is no way. I do want to let other people know this is a scam and stay away from it. I have contacted CNN and you at Ripoffreport.com.  Thank you.
