Ever since Nextcard was auctioned off or filed Bankrupcty, the interest rates are outlandish and terrible.
I have been in contact with NCO Financial (Bank of Omaha) for the last 2-3 months they own the debt now from what I can gather. I was told my intrest rate would be adjusted to 18% from the 27.99% they are trying to impose.
NCO representative on 11/19/02 (Amanda), 12/16/02 (Jacoree N10) was told it would be adjusted on my next statement receiving the next statement seems to be the same rate.
However, I can find no working phone number that would get me past the "Enter your Account number Now" prompt to speak to an actual person. So I have mailed several letters out to NEXTCARD/MASTERTRUST, NCO FINANCIAL & now this report I am filing.
However, I know NEXTCARD or NCO is out there somewhere! Meanwhile maybe if I cease to send payment someone will call and we can get this resolve or even file Bankrupcty on them like they did there customers.
