Doctor provided me a prescription and I asked for it to be filled through the Mail Order pharmacy portion of my Health Insurance.  A day later I get e-mail indicating order being processed - great.  Another day later e-mail order is shipping - great.  Another day later I check my bank and see charge for $20.  I say WHAT that is generic pricing.  I contact NextRx and asked what was shipped they told me the Generic of what my Doctor ordered.  I told them I didn't ask for Generic as the Generic gives me problems and the prescription indicated regular.  They said prescription did not have box checked NOT TO USE GENERIC so this was DR fault not theirs.  Contacted DR they said sorry will order again and they couldn't provide me the $20 as it was the Mail Order Pharmacy who charged not me. Oh well its only $20 I said.

A day later I get e-mail indicating order being processed - great.  Another day later e-mail order is shipping - great.  Another day later I check my bank and see charge for $80.  Ok sounds about right.  Two days later I get an e-mail saying order is processing - WHAT ORDER - I contact NextRX and they said they were shipping a 3rd order that is Brand with X on it whereas second order was just Brand A without the X.  They said Doctor called and said we were ship Brand A with the X not without the X.

Later in week get order and as expected its the wrong version of the medication.  I needed Brand with say an X on it but this was just BRAND.  Two days later I get Brand A with the X.  Now here is the scoop I am again charged $80.  So here I have $180 in charges when only should have $80.

I contact NextRX they say hey sorry but NOT OUR FAULT can't refund.  I say well why didn't you contact me before shipping out the same "TYPE" of medication 3 times in a span of less then two weeks.  They said sorry not our FAULT it couldn't be different dosages.  I said no all three orders were same dosage and they were all the exact same product family wouldn't you think wise to contact patient to make sure this is what they wanted.  Again they said NOT OUR FAULT and NO REFUND.  I asked to return order 1 and 2 as I had not opened packages.  They said NOT OUR FAULT and WE CAN'T take back orders its ALL THE DOCTORS FAULT not OURS.

I can see where the Doctor is at fault and I'm working on this, with no luck also but to have shipped out 3 times in 2 weeks the same "TYPE" of medication is just blatantly wrong and they should of seen something was wrong.  My local pharmacy Walgreens would have stopped this dead in its tracks.

Last, I said I was going to dispute the third charge as I had not authorized it and the lady say to me in a threating voice if you dare try to challenge we will put on your account that you are a non-payer and you will never be able to order from us again.

This place is a joke they have no level of customer service, they wouldn't even refund me the first $20.

Never use this pharmacy and complain to WellPoint about them.

Read your mail order pharm rules and terms

AUTHOR: mizztee - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, September 03, 2009

First off you should note that if this is the mail order pharm for your insurance then your insurance is one of the Wellpoint providers.  NextRx _IS_ Wellpoint and is the same company as your insurence.

Second, you admited that the mixup was your docs fault, so why is NextRx acountable for someone elses mistake?  When you enrolled you gave permision for your provider to order medication on your behaf.  Not NextRx/WellPoint's fault he did wrong.

Third, you received the medication, medication that upon agreeing to your terms are non return or refundable.  Why would you be contacted upon processing? You or your represnetaive, Dr in this case, authorized it, thats all the ok that is needed.

You were given EXACTLY what your Dr asked for, that is no ones fault but his.  Perhaps you might want to be familiar with the terms of a service before you participate.

Complain all you want to WellPoint, as NextRx is in the middle of being purchased by another PBM, ExpressScripts for a huge chunk of change due to the practices and success.  Complain to WellPoint, see where it gets you....Millions of happy customers who understand the terms of service cant be wrong, even more millions of dollers for a system and a group of employees cant be wrong, just your understanding.
