My 13 year old son wanted to buy a nice gift for himself and his friend, so we went online and researched companies that sold NFL sporting apparel, because he is pretty responsible and wanted to do this himself, stupid me let him, not thinking a store would take advanatage of a child.

He ordered 2 NFL jerseys from a store in New York Dec 17th so we thought, He had a promo code for free shipping so we thought, after I asked where it was, and if shipping was free he explained it was in NY with Free shipping so we added the 2 items to the cart and went to checkout. During the checkout process instead of it charging us 26 dollar and tax for the items purchase it charged us like 72. This immediately paniced me. So i called the place we ordered it from and email with no answer, finally hours later we were sent an email back with some stupid pre made message, I called my bank right away and ask to have the items disputed, but because they had already took it out I couldnt do anything except a charge back.

They recommended I try contacting the place again which I did, days later I finally got a response that they had already shipping the items. Despite being upset about the huge bill I figured lesson learned and as long as my son got his items we would just never do business with them again. I sent a message asking for a tracking number, a few days later I got a tracking number. Finally so we thought, when we got the item maybe a week or later it only had 1 item in it. When I contact them, they told me the other would be shipping in 3-5 days, so much for priortory shipping, that was last week, When I contacted them yesterday for the new tracking number they told me I already had both items, which I do not. The label on the box clearly said 1 item 1 package.

I think it is horrible this placae would basically steal from a child, but lesson learned, if I do not have an answer by tomorrow I will do a charge back.. Sad part is my kid only wants his Jet's Jersey...his favorite team ever....It stinks kids have to be afraid, to be independant because of jerks like this taking advanatge of them..But at the end of the day I didnt have any reason to beleive it wasnt legit, but next time I will call before ordered to make sure and do a background check on the company I am doing business with...
