I am a "client" of Nick Gottuso's - he is a thief. Stay away from this dirty thief. I went to him for a mortgage loan modification, he took my money up front despite SB94 not allowing him to do so.
He told me that one of his multiple shell companies was with an attorney named Brian Linnekens who is doing all of his modifications with a 100% success rate in that if they feel they can't get the modification to go through, they give all of their clients a full refund. He is a snake-oil salesman (at best) and not having anywhere else to turn, I trusted him. Now, my home is in foreclosure, he has closed up shop, he won't return my calls, he won't return my money, which I paid up front, in FULL, and it turns out that he was having me sign agreements and retainers with Brian the attorney while he, Nick, was pocketing the money, not turning in my file and paperwork to the attorney's team and all the while milking me for more funds! He took all the money himself and sat on my file and never told the attorney.
He lies on top of his lies, he is the most deceitful, miserable person I've ever come across. I wish I'd read all the info about him online before I handed over THOUSANDS of dollars of my family's money. I have 3 children, a wife, 2 car payments and the mortgage and this thief had to come in and get his piece of my flesh. DO NOT DO ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS WITH THIS THIEF!!

I am a happy client of attorney Brian R. Linnekens. I signed up with his company to assist me with a loan modification with Citi Mortgage on Aug. of this year. I was quoted a flat fee and the retainer for services was broken down into 3 payments. I was weary about paying upfront but when I looked Brian up he had an A+ rating on BBB and only 4 complaints that had all been refunded. I was given a contract with a clear cut 100% refund policy and gaurantee along with procedures to start the refund if need be. I felt comfortable with Brian and I submitted my paperwork on Aug 2nd. I was able to get status updates throughout the entire process by phone or with my email pin they gave me. I don't know who this Nick Gottuso character is but I have spoken with numerous people in Brian's office and never heard of him. He may be using Brian's name fraudulently. My mod was finalized in mid Oct. and I signed my new terms at the end of Oct. With my new payment starting on Dec. 1st. I had a 9.25% fixed with a payment of $2856 before and now I have a 2.35% fixed with a new payment of $1432.17 piti!!!!! I owe evrything I have, including my sanity to Brian and his team of negotiators! I would reccomend hem to anyone. You can reach them at 888-HOPE-NOW and I like Jennifer White as an agent personally so I would try to ask for her if you can......good luck!
p.s. This is the info I have on Brian and he has been audited to be SB94 compliant, I made sure to check prior to paying his retainer.
