**Buyer Beware***
Took my car to Nick Mayer Lincoln service for 4 new tires and an alignment. They did an OK job mounting and balancing the tires, however, they did not do the alignment on the rear tires correctly. I took it back to Nick Mayer to have them look at it.
The alignment was wayyyyyy off.
They denied any fault, and said they would have to double-charge me for an ADDITIONAL alignment check.
I wanted to pay with an American Express credit card, and they refused service unless I paid with CASH. I inquired why and the girl at the front desk stated that she didn't want me to chargeback the service.
The person running the front desk was rude, and spoke to me in a condescending manner.
Terrible customer service, poor quality repairs. Didn't do the job that I paid them to do. The service department honestly has no idea what they are doing.
Businesses like this give car dealerships a bad name.

I bet this is the way it went:
You brought the car in and said 4 tires and alignment.
The Service Advisor Heard 4 tires and alignment. A good service writer should have caught this and asked 4 wheel or just front end? This is the first person who should have caught this little error filled mess.
The tech read the Service order and Aligned the front end only. Alignment means front end only unless it says Four wheel alignment. This is because it is more money to do the extra work. He should have called the service advisor and had Him/Her to up sell you the four wheel alignment (That you wanted anyway) so that you were happy, he made more money and service adviser made more commission. If the rear alignment was off he should have noticed the unusual tire wear and refused to align the vehicle with out doing all four wheels. At this point just this is just dumb.
Next the service manager should have reviewed this and Explained that you hadn't paid for the four wheel alignment and made sure you understood why you were being charged. At OUR Dealership: When we get to this point we only charge the deference between the requested service and what we did, usually A $40 ISH Savings over a standard alignment as a good will gesture and if you push a little but keep your temper we will re-do the work at no charge, again as a "Good Will" gesture.
So Lets count it up: Service writer poorly trained, Technician lazy or poorly trained, Neither wants to make more money? Unlikely, probably just lazy X 2 And a service manager that was either caught off guard or doesn't want to see it your way.
At our dealership: Service manager: reprimand, Service writer and technician to under go retraining of this area.
Of course if you lost your temper and swore at an employee all bets are off.
Good Luck
