This report is being made on a internet company called NicNac.net also known as Hoizon Outdoors. I have read various bad repots on this company, but do not believe everything I read. So I decided to give this company a chance and order from them. I tried for days to call as i do not like putting my credit card through websites. I was unable to reach anyone after many attempts. I tried email as a last resort. The reponse I got back was that I could order directly from the website. What kind of answer is this? After doing some internet research I found several lniks that led to this rip off report forum that mentioned NicNac.net and Horizon Outdoors numerous times in a very negative tone. I decided I still wanted to try and order from this company as I had no real reason to believe they could have such an intricate website and "not deliver the goods".

Well, as they say, "curiosity killed the cat". I tried to order a Scarab OTF Clone that they were listing for almost $100.00. I know these were made in China and I had bought one about 6 months earlier for around $35.00 on Ebay. But what the heck, I really wanted another and could not seem to find one anywhere,(I eventually found one on another website for about $40.00!), and placed the order with my friend's credit card. After a couple of weeks, no knife. Still trying to call I could not reach anyone. Emails went unanswered until finally i was told this item "was on back order"!

This was after i threatened that I was putting a dispute in with my credit card company and was contacting the better business bureau. Well, it took about 3 weeks for the money to appear back on my card. And this unsatisfied "customer" (I don't think i can realistically label myself that!) must add to the rest of the accusations here that this company is BAD NEWS! The owner i found out is Nick Wagner. The company was originally called Horizon Outdoors and is now using an alternate company name nicnac.net. Why the name change? Makes me wonder? To many disgruntled customers knocking at your door? Well, as I said, I order the same exact knife "CONICIDENTALLY" from another company,
who had the item in stock, shipped it promptly, AND was selling it for HALF THE PRICE as nicnac.net. Now that was a pleasurable internet experience.

Beware of this unscrupulous company NicNac.net or Horizon Outdoors, or whatever they are calling themselves these days. After reading other reports on this company I see I am not the only consumer who has a complaint. And this company seems to have a lot of negative things to say about their competition, when in fact they have not proved worthy of making these accusations themselves in my eyes.

Thank you for your time and consideration. And BEWARE NICNAC.net A.K.A. Horizon Outdoors!

It sounds like what you are saying is that you never actually did any business with the company. As I recall you mistakenly ordered an that was clearly marked as "SOLD OUT" then wanted to make a federal case out of the fact that you ordered something that was out of stock and your card was charged. Correct? YOU are the one that CHARGHED IT. Our terms warn all buyers that THEY are making and authorizing the charge.

You became such a monumental pain in the rear wanting to blame us for your own mistakes so we told you to go elsewhere and make your purchase. We refunded your money right away and by that time several days had passed. It takes several days, sometimes up to TWO WEEKS, for YOUR BANK return a refund into your account. The banks play those games with your money to draw interest on it and 75 million other pending refunds for their own benefit. We can't help that.

So it sounds like you knowingly ordered something that was marked as "sold out" then authorized the charge and when you finally realized you ordered an out of stock item you needed somebody to blame for not getting your toy when you wanted it so you chose to blame the vendor, correct??

It happens ALL THE TIME.

It also sounds like maybe you are shilling for the lyingest liar on the internet and king of disinformation by censorship AKA BS. Say hey for me. L.O.L!!!!!! Some people will stoop to incredible levels to further their own twisted agenda.
