I searched nextag.com for the best deal on Ugg Classic Tall boots and came across nikeclubs.com. I very rarely buy anything from small website companies and usually stick to the big name companies like macys and nordstrom and target. But the deal seemed too good to pass up. $99 for Ugg boots.

So I bit and bought a pair. I had to pay through paypal which should have raised red flags for me right then but I was just so excited about the good deal I thought I was getting. So a week went by and I still had not received even a confirmation email stating they received my order and were processing it.

So I contacted them through their website asking to cancel my order. Then I contacted paypal about disputing the charge for non-receipt. Paypal contacted them and they gave them a USPS shipping confirmation number that wasn't valid anytime I checked it.

Then on Tuesday I got a beat up package from China (the site never said they were from China and the number on the site is a number for the United States) and inside were these boots. To somebody who had never seen Ugg boots before they would have believed they were real.

However, my Ugg boots from the actual company that makes them (Deckers) arrived 2 days later so I compared the two. The fake pair reeked like chemicals while the real Deckers pair smelled like normal shoes. The soles of the fake pair were rigid and had a different bottom than the real ones (who's soles are flexible). The coloring was off as well and the sheepskin inside the fake ones were, well, fake. The fake ones were also shorter and a shoe size smaller than the real ones.

I have contacted the company numerous times and they have yet to respond to me. I also filed a dispute with paypal which paypal closed because they would only deal with receipt issues and not quality of goods issues.

So not only do I have these fake Ugg boots that reek and I am out $129 but now I am pissed off at PayPal for claiming to be against fraudulent activity yet they do nothing to combat it and help out their other users.

So anyone thinking about buying anything from NikeClubs.com DO NOT DO IT!
