I opened an account with NinjaTrader. I choose to lease the platform for a year. Two weeks into the lease, the platform crashed several times. It also, used a huge amount of resources on my windows 7 i7-4790K CPU with 32 GB of ram. After spending countless hours with remote support and email communications, I gave up and decided to terminate our relationship. All this was within 30 days of my 12 month lease.
When I asked for a refund, this is what I got.

Your lease is set to expire on 04-06-2018
We do not provide refunds for unused time left on a lease.
