When I went into the Nissan of Montclair I wanted to buy a used car and told them I could only afford about $150. a month in payments. I have reported this elsewhere. After five or six hours the talked me into a new car. As time went by I discovered they had forged the amount of money I made every month, but also perjured themselves on documents. I stopped payment on my $1,000 check because of unconscionable contract and we are still in court over that.
I will be contacting the media, and reporting them to the Attorney General's Office and Consumer Affairs. They unlawfully reposed my car, and they took my Handicap Placard and Parking Permit for my apartment building.
I am 70 years old, and now still have no car.

You can't have it both ways.

You can't stop payment on a check and complain about an "unconscionable" contract while at the same time complaining that they repossessed the car. Once you stopped payment they have the right to repossess the car. If you didn't turn it in on your own they legally can come and get it.
I suspect that it is more of a case that you were talked into a car that after you "thought" about it you really don't like or can't afford and are trying to get out of the deal. Unfortunatly "buyers remorse" is not Elder Abuse.
Are you in court because they are going after you for the stop payment?
Exactly how and when did you find out that they lied about the amount you made?
Also, just out of curiosity how much was the car you bought, the interest rate and your monthly payment.
