Hi all, here is hoping this never happens to any of you.

On November 16th, of this year, I went to Nissan of McKinney to try to buy a truck for my business, I am a retailer in Texas, and make my living by going to trade shows.

I didn't think I could do it as my credit is not good, and I was wanting to get the truck in my business name....after 5 hours, they said "done deal" had me sign all paperwork, and took my downpayment, and let me drive away.

They didn't give me any paperwork, saying that it would be a few days to get it all in order and get it to me, I was so excited to have a new...well used Truck, that I didn't think anything of it.

Two weeks later they called to say financing had fallen through, and if I didn't find my own that I would have to bring the truck back. Of course I was very angry, after all I had signed a contract, and they had cashed the downpayment.

Nissan insisted that sale was pending financing, and that it was in the contract that I had signed. When I acked to see that in writing...ie...let me see the contract, they refused, saying that it didn't matter if it actually said "subject to finance"...bottom line, no financing, no truck.

Phone calls went back and forth for the next two weeks, as I refused to bring the truck back, until I had been able to follow up with the Department of Transportation, whome I had filed a complaint with.

On Nov. 15th at 12:30 am their hired thieves came and stole my truck..I guess some would call this a repo, but as I had mailed my first payment, and they has cashed the downpayment, I was certainly not in default.

I can only assume that they got some kind of kick-back from a bank for making the sale, and being so close to the end of the year, maybe a tax break too. I beleive they never had any intention of following through with this sale right from the start.

They claim they couldn't get me financed because my business was too new, and personal credit was bad...of course they knew all this when they let me drive off that night, I was very up front and honest about my situation.

It was a dirty deal, and I can only hope this won't happen to anyone else. The owners name is Robert Knarr, beware, and don't buy from Nissan of Mckinney.
