I bought a pre-paid calling card from Nobel.com a week ago. Since then I haven't been connected a single time, and it's been a nightmare trying to contact their customer service and get any solution from them.

First of all, I tried to use the card a few times from both landline and cell phones. I never got connected, kept getting a message "we cannot connect the call, please try again". I asked Noble for reimbursement by email. I got their "no", yet I figured out I was charged for 1) 2 minutes of talk (are you kidding me) and 2) weekly maintenance fee. I contacted them by email first, didn't get prompt reply, so this "communication" took a few days and meanwhile I was charged for weekly maintenance fee (what were they "maintaining"?).

Finally I called them when I figured out no one is going to reply my emails (I work full-time, so I can't afford spending all day on the phone). Well, it was a waste of time... They re-addressed my complaint to the technical department "it will be fixed in 2 hours". Guess what happened in 2 hours? "We cannot connect the call, please try again".

Ok, I called to the customer service again. Apparently, the technical department reported that all the issues were fixed. They told me they will contact the technical department again. 2 to 6 hours to fix the issue this time. They also told me "if you won't be able to get connected, please call us AGAIN." This wasn't funny anymore, so I asked for reimbursement. I never got the service I paid for. I never will, as far as I can see. So, the customer service agent told me that "my request will be forwarded to the finance department and they will look into it within the next 24 hours". She never gave me a reference number for my request, by the way, saying "everything is filed in your account". Nothing was filed in my online account, of course. I'm afraid I can easily predict what reply I will get from the finance department.

What can I say... Please NEVER buy Nobel.com cards, dear customers, unless you have lots of time on hands to spend hours on the phone with their customer service, lots of patience and have no other causes to donate your money to. Of course, I try to make as much as possible to "advertise" Nobel and file complaints, yet I have to kiss my $20 good-bye and see how the whole amount disappears in weekly "maintenance" fees. Please NEVER get fooled by their "promotional offers", you will end up wasting money instead of saving... It has been my most frustrating experience with pre-paid calling cards ever (and I use them a lot).
