North America Power and Gas, LLC/NAP NAP NAP charged me over $5000+ for supply services during the winter months of 2013 and I'm still fighting to get my money back and readjust my bill back in 2013 to my original cancellation requested month in May 2013. NAP refused to cancel my services when requested and charged extremely high rates over 16+ cents per killowatts. This situation caused my electric bill to increase from $150.00 p/month when I was with PEPCO to over $957.00 p/month after switching to NAP The company is unethical, crooked and takes advantage of senior citizens. They should be shut down. Norwalk Connecticut

North America Power and Gas, LLC (NAP)
This company should be shut down for taking advantage of senior citizens by overcharging on their electric and gas services. NAP was fined over $100,000 in 2011 for unethical sales practices and it appears that the unethical sales tactics continue
NAP states that their rates are lower than PEPCOs who used to be my electric company who provided reasonable rates. I switched my service to NAP as my supplier and my supply bill soared from $150.00 per month to over $957.00 per month.
I requested cancellation of my services with NAP and was told that it takes 30-60 days to cancel the services. In the meantime it took over 6 months for NAP to cancel my services with them and my bill grew to well over $5000+ dollars.
I am requesting that NAP readjust my supply bill back to the original requested month of cancellation in May 2013 and refund me the difference back to me. NAP lied about hearing my recorded statement requesting cancellation of services to PSC.
I called NAP on several times and asked different reps if they found my cancellation request in their records and was told yes that they had actual recordings of me discussing issues with their rates and requesting cancellation of services. But, yet NAP reported to PSC that they had no record of any conversations or request of cancellation made by me.
Other issues stem from False advertisements by NAP sales reps and the powers to be. NAP's compliance person falsified the number of attempts made to contact me in reference to resolving my compliant. No real attempts have be made to resolve my financial issues created by NAP. The company is unethical in their sales practices and fals advertisment is plate served up to the public. NAP should be banned.
PSC please shut this company down.
