North American Award Center TOOK MONEY FROM A 93 YEAR OLD CANADIAN MAN VIA CHECKS HE WROTE. THOUGHT IT WAS LEGITAMIT LOTTERY N. KANSAS CITY Missouri, ONTARIO CANADA

My 93 yr old father received unsolisated mail from the NA Award Center in N. Kansas City. They seemed legitamit to him and he sent them checks for about $300. They now have his bank account number. I called his bank in Canada and they wouldn't speak to me and the police said he had to call them directly. He is too embarrassed to do either. I do not know how they got his name and address as he lives in a retirement home. He is going to call the bank and stop payment on three more checks he has sent them.
