Money has been tight for a few months and receiving a check for $4,370 seemed to be an answer to my prayers, not to mention the rest of the $175,000 that I was to be awarded.

As I reread the award letter, I noticed how poorly written it was. Looking at the check however, it appeared to be genuine. Nothing really jumped out at me, but I remained skeptical. I googled BB&T, Branch Banking and Trust Company, and found their web site. I also found a BB&T branch just a few miles from the Guyton, GA address on the check. Thus far, I was still hopeful.

I did a google search on North American Prize Pool and found all the reports. I hope everyone that gets one of these checks takes the time to investigate before making a huge costly mistake.
