North American Publishers Clearinghouse CON ARTIST Ontario

In July of 2008 I received a letter with a Canadian postmark from North American Publishers Clearinghouse with a check from Brooks Electircal Distribution co in Illinois for $4,467.00 and a letter with !-866431-6435 Ext1 to a Dan Hendrix and letter signed by Lena Jensen, Clains Dept. Regional Director and a 2nd number 514-571-3628. The letter stated that I was a winner of $975,382.00 dollar sweepstakes. I was to deposit the check into my checking account after speaking with Mr.Hendrix.

I called Mr. Hendrix and when he first answered he was surprised that i called. I was placed on hold and he came back on after saying i had definatily won. Mr. Hendrix told me when i deposited the money tell them it was an "investment" i had made with a company and it was an royalty or divdidend on the investment."At the time i did not have a account so i opened one the next day at Hancock Bank here in Independence, La thinking i had actually won.

The day after i talking with Mr. Hendrix when my banker, Michelle McMichael called telling me it was a fraud. After getting off with Michelle I went back to him while he was "talking with the financial team" because 11 day holding period would be "too Long, needed at least access of $1,000.00 for IRS taxes and adminstrative fees." On numerous occassion when i would call about it he stated that it would be handle and i would receive reimbursement in 30 days! Well as of today its well past 30 days and have received nothing.

The last 2 days I have tried continuallessy to contact him and all I get is a recording he is not available and have left several messages and no return call yet! I hope there is a class action law suit because i will join in it. I will turn over this all to my back tomorrow.
