North - American Sweepstakes Lottery Letter stated I won a lottery for 55,500.00. I received a check for 3,955.00 to pay the applicable taxes on my winnings of 55,500.00 They stated The tax amount was $2,900.00 to be paid either by Western Union Or Moneygram. I looked up the area code for phone number it's in Canada, not N.Y. Claims/Disbursement Agent was MR.BOB. Promotion Manager Micheal J. Hialop Niagara Falls New York

I received a notice stating I won a lottery in N.Y. in the amount of $55,500.00. Along with the notice was a check for $3,955.00. The check was to pay for the taxes in the amount of $2,900.00 and that I was to call and then send it Western Union or a Moneygram. I searched the area code from the letter and it is not in New York but in Canada, out of the U.S. It's a scam. Check states it was drawn from Bank of America N.A.
