I too received a letter with a check for $4875.00 (for taxes). The letter said to call upon deposit of check. It sure looked real but like many others are very sceptical. Found your site through the internet and confirmed this was bogus and have no intention of calling or deposting check. May also contact local police as I see other have done.

Check was from S&T Bank, 800 Philadelphia St, Indiana, Pa 15701. The Prudent Securities address on check was 12 Dakota Drive, Emlenton, PA 16373
