 To make a long disrespectful story short. I contacted North Atlanta Realty about a rental home '2595 Highbrooke Trl., Duluth, GA 30097-2230' I seen online on Trulia.com. I called about the property and spoke with Phyllis, another contact person, and she mentioned the home had 6 or 7 pending application on this home. She also said I was welcomed to come view the home but I thougt that was ridiculous if 6 or 7 people was interested. After hanging up I wondered why 6 or 7 people would apply and waste $45 on an application fee or why the company want indiviuals wasting money. About a week later or 2 later Doug Wangsley contacted me and asked if I was still search for a place because all the pending applications was denied. I asked why because I felt it was odd. He said He was shocked to know theres so many people with criminal records and bad credit. So I got happy because I  never been arrested and have good credit. Plus the location was great and the size of the home was prefect. He encouraged me to schedule an appointment (he was a no show) and complete an application & pay the application fee. I told him I was approved for a townhome but prefer his property because it was a single family home. At the 2nd appointment we scheduled it was another couple waiting to see the property as well. He asked if I was the person with the pending application in front of the couple. I said YES. During the showing, the lady asked Doug if theres a pending application why wasnt she informed. He said nothing is approved as of yet. After the couple left me said the only thing I needed was to provide a paystub for my 2nd job.I told him I would be more than willing to forward him my paystubs via email. I did that before I left the property. he said he will get back in touch with me the next day for approval. The next evening he called me and my application was denied because I needed a 1099 form for my 2nd job. I explained I just started to work at the company in January 2014 so Im unable to provide a 1099, asked why my paystub wasnt good enough. Then he says "Well I cant rent to you cause you have an eviction on your record". I explained I never been evicted before and I also explained the landlord that approved me for the townhome says on the report I owe $51.20.I explained it was a clean up fee for not cleaning a stove to the complex standards in 2011. Doug said he was an eviction. I asked him if he would evict someone for $51.20? He wouldnt answer the question so I got upset. In the argument he said I HATE DEALING WITH YOU PEOPLE!  I really got upset and called him a racist a*****e and said he was intimidated by a black women with good credit and make a lot of money and hung up

So North Atlanta Realtyis racist company and enjoy having people pay the application fee and denying them!!

I called the office to tell someone what happened and of course Phyillis never returned my call. Before writing this complaint. I called the office to get Dougs last name and their secretary Susan refused to give me his last name. After search there website I found it!

Dont waste your money on these RACIST PEOPLE!
