I should have known that this was a fraudulent company right from the start, since it does not in the first place, give out its full street address as well as its zipcode i.e. red flag for a fraudulent company.

At the beginning of the year, I ordered an old book, "Five Go Off To Camp" by famed children's writer, Enid Blyton. The book never arrived. I tried to contact the company via abebooks.com, where it adverises, but I got no response.

Due to my stupidity, having forgotten about this company, I re-ordered more Enid Blyton books through this company and again nothing happened as far as my requested book deliveries were concerned.

Last week, I wanted to order more EB books, until I noticed that this company was advertizing more EB books, even claiming that delivery in the US was "free." This time I got wiser and ordered the books via Ebay.

I have complained to Abebooks (abebooks.com) about this problem but to no avail. In fact, this is not the first time, I have been scammed by sellers at abebooks.com. I now prefer ordering books either through Amazon (amazon.com-which also has some devious sellers) and above all Ebay (whose sellers have all been honest and have delivered their items to me).

So my message to my fellow consumers, please be aware of North Hampton Book Emporium, a company does not even have a numbered P.O. Box. They will charge your credit card for the item, but will never deliver the product, and above all, be careful dealing with several book sellers at Abebooks (abebooks.com).

Don't get me wrong. Most Abebooks sellers are honest, but a few such as North Hampton Book emporium give the company a very bad name. This is compounded by the fact that abebooks does not have a ratings system that can rate a seller's performance just as Amazon and Ebay do.

Dear Sir:

We are sorry that you did not receive your books. Occassionally there are issues with abebooks. If you had clicked on our link our FULL ADDRESS is shown on abe. (we no longer sell on abe). Also, if you had reported to abe that you did not receive the books (as you claim to have done) you would NOT have been charged and would have received a full refund. We sell on ebay under the user id "usedbookden" and have a 100% POS feedback rating. We apologize if your experience with our company was not what you expected and would appreciate you retracting the false accusations that we just "take peoples money".
