North South Leasing Fraudulent Lease Approvals, Fraser, Michigan

North South Leasing is probably the most fraudulent and openly dishonest company we have had the misfortune to deal with after so many years in the finance and leasing industry. 

We referred a customer to Bob Anderson (one of the owners) and Tina Brossoit on a transaction where they asked for copies of the customer's bank account register, then asked the customer for a check for over 6000.00 (which was the entire balance available).  This amount was supposed to be advance payments, fees and other various charges which were spelled out on an approval letter given to us and to the customer.   When the transaction was scheduled to close, they suddenly withdrew their approval and kept the entire amount of the customer's money, probably knowing that the customer would be unable to pursue them legally except for small claims court.

When we attempted to help the customer regain their money, Bob Anderson was extremely abrasive and unprofessional.  In fact, his demeanor was very unsettling in that the whole fraud seemed very routine.   He didn't even deny that they never had any intention of approving his loan and that they purposely misled the customer.

Our company paid the customer back in full as a professional and ethical courtesy, but North South has yet to respond to both our and the customer's demands for restitution.  Best we can do is warn others away, and in particular, banks who would extend North South lines of credit and unintentially participate in North South's fraud.
