Northern Leasing Inc. Victim of fraud by Northern Leasing Inc....company is notorious for this action. New York, New York

I am responding and agreeing with the report made against Northern Leasing, Inc. (Rpt #794064). It was reported that this company offered their machine to this customer at no charge and then began to charge the man afterwards. He also indicated that the original contract he signed was "modified" after he signed it.

This very same thing is happening to my fiancee' right now. He decided to change merchant services because Datalink Bankcard Services offered him what he thought would be a better deal. However, it has been nothing but a nightmare. Datalink uses Northern Leasing, Inc. and we aren't sure which company is more unprofessional. Northern told my fiancee' that they would come set up the machine that he already owned so that he could utilize it with Datalink. That would've been great, however, another Northern employee called him back and told him that they would just send him their machine (free of charge).

This would've been fine as well. My fiancee' then noticed, while looking at his bank acct statement, that he was being charged for the machine. This was not what he had agreed to. Additionally, when he received a copy of his lease agreement, he noticed that there were extra pages that were not in his original set of documents. He knows that these were added because he had faxed back what he was given and his transmission report shows that there were 3 pages less than what he received back from them.

The worst part of this, is that there were lines that were supposedly initialed by my fiancee' that were obviously photocopied and superimposed on these additional pages that he never saw in the first place. This has been a completed nightmare. No one will take responsibility for their unprofessional and fraudulent actions and meanwhile they are continuing to take out random charges from my fiancee's bank account. We are also filing a report on Datalink Bankcard Services because their behavior has been just as sketchy and unprofessional as Northern Leasing, Inc.

Someone needs to hold these two companies accountable for their actions. It's appalling and scandalous that they can get away with screwing business owners out of hundreds of dollars.
