Northern Leasing Systems, LLC Carol Henry They are placing a lien to collect money I do not owe them New York New York

I leased a credit card machine from the company in December of 2009 to be used in my flower shop after begin referred there by Chase Bank.  The contract has no length of agreement listed.

The machine broke in May 0f 2011.  I sent it in for repair, but they didn't want to uphold the part of our agreement that required them to send a replacement while the repair was taking place.  After badgering them they sent a unit that had become obsolete about 10 years earlier and couldn't connect to the current infrastructure. As this was my only way of processing credit cards I could not do business without it.

After more arguing, I instructed them not to fix it and sent both email and print letters, as requested by them, asking to sever our relationship.  At that point they tried to make me believe we had a contract that I couldn't break, but they couldn't give me a length of that contract or show me where that info was contained. I was able to get a new machine from another company immediately after not being able to process any payments for five days.

It is now February of 2015 and I just got a phone call from Carol Henry at 212-216-8188.  She claims I have been "served" they will take every effort to collect their, money, etc.  She attempted to bully me on the phone.  I have requested a copy of the "leasae" they have and she is mailing me one.

I owe them nothing and I need to prevent them from moving forward.
