Northern Regal Home Builders Poor customer support, poor workmanship, cut corners. Roy Utah

I agree with Jason in Hooper. Initially Northern Regal were all smiles and appeared very helpful, until you signed the paperwork. They gave me a 2 hour notice to do my homeowner additions/upgrades, where the homeowner does the work, instead of the agreed upon 2 week notice. All the major subs appear to be connected to this family owned business, so there's no competitive bidding.
The work has been sloppy. I had to replace 2 bathroom sinks, and repair a drawer that a workman used as a step ladder.

I'm still doing some repairs on my own, wondering what else is going to leak, break or come loose. I've remounted the bathroom towel racks, resealed the doors,my back door is warpped or bent, the kitchen is drafty due to an opening to the outside through the basement. Insulation needs to be redistributed. Water is getting under the shingles somewhere (I'll check that this spring). My upstairs bathroom had low water pressure (possibly a pinched line?)The list goes on and on.

I won't ever use this company again and advise all that ask me, steer clear. On a plus note, my foundation appears okay-so far.

I've filed numerous requests for repairs while under warranty. They started fixing the problems but then stopped. My neighbors have similiar complaints, mainly incomplete work done. One neighbor has silicon holding his rain gutters on, it'd be funny if it weren't for the price they paid for the home. I've kept all my correspondence and filed requests for repairs as well as a photo album of all the odd discoveries throughout my home and my neighbors homes.

This could be a trend here in Utah, using unskilled workers and not checking the work done, but isn't a contractor/builder's responsibility supposed to be checking out the quality of workmanship and the skill of the worker? I'll never own another home in this state.
