Northland Group - Hurley State Bank Wrote off dept and are now lieing to try to get dept back Edina Minnesota

Back in 1998 I went to prison and my mom called Hurley State Bank to talk to them about what to do with my bill. The gentleman my mom talked to asked where I was going and how long I was to be in prison. When my mom told this man that I got a 12-15 year sentence he said well we might as well write this off then.

I never heard from them again neither did my parents. When I got out of prison I got a loan for a car and the next year I ended up getting some financing from Wells Fargo Bank as well as a credit card, when I got my two Wells Fargo accounts paid off it was about six months after that and I had been out of prison almost 2 years this Asset Acceptance LLc (Northland Group Inc.), started sending me these bills for Hurley State Bank and when I called this company and explained what was going on from what my mom and I was told he didn't believe what I had told him.

I continue getting bills from these people. One time it was to put the bill on a credit card. One is for a settlement payment of 798.41. The one I recently recieved about a week ago was for a 550.00 or so amount.

When I got into the trailer that I recieved from my brother they did a credit check on me and this bill from Hurley State Bank is not on my credit report. I tried to tell that to the person I talked to on the phone and ask him why they are comming after me all these years later when on my credit report it has all my addresses on it plus it does not have this bill listed, the man said you still need to pay this.

I don't see why I need to pay this bill when it is not on my credit report and I was told that Hurley State Bank was writing it off. When I looked Hurley State Bank up on the internet to find an address or phone number there is not one listed.
