Northlands Roofing and Carpentry Services Leo Goguen Ripped Off/Poor Workmanship/Repaired roof and made leaking worse/will not return phone calls or fix problem/was paid for job and will not refund money/had reputable roofing company look at problem and Grande Prairie, Alberta

In April of 2010 I had Leo Goguen of Northland Roofing and Carpentry Services come to take a look at my leaky roof at my place of business.  He came that afternoon and gave me a quote and told me he could fix the problem that would make it stop leaking but would be temporary fix but should last at least 1 year.  He came back a few days later and climbed up there claiming to fix it and said he wanted to be paid for the job right away.  Being a stupid and trusting Woman...I paid him and that very afternoon it started to leak worse than it had before.  I called him immediately and he told me would come back and take a look at it.  Of course he never showed up.  I called him again and now he screening my calls and won't answer his phone.  Left him several messages and no response.  Had my brother call him from a different number and he answered right away!!  He told my brother that he would come back and fix the problem at the beginning of May.  He never showed.  I reported him to the Better Business Bureau but he is not a member so of course he would not respond to their letters either.  I had a reputable roofing company come to look at my roof as now the inside of my ceiling is bowed as he made the problem worse.  They looked at it and said they could not believe what he did and that he calls himself a Roofer???  They said that what he did only caused more problems with the leak!!! I would like my money back from this guy but I'm sure I will never get it therefore I am going to make sure everyone knows what a Ripoff Artist this guy is and I have told everyone I know not to use his services!!!  We took pictures of the roof and the repairs he did.  Had the roof repaired by someone that knew what they were doing and the bill was $6000.00.  Part of that was for them to remove some sort of metal contraption he put up there which no one has any idea why he would put metal up there and then throw some tar over it. He had also told us with his quote that he was going to heat up tar and re-tar the part that was leaking which he never did either!!!
