Northside Choppers - Desperado He also ripped me off and a few others Northlake Illinois

Desperado - aka Edward - appears to be infamous in the internet as being a rip-off. His house is his workshop as I went to his house to get my money. He wouldnt come to the door even when I saw him inside the house. His daughter or wife or female companion is Teresa and the Durango in the driveway is registered to her sporting his company logo. I believe his last name is Robinson - as I dont have all my paperwork with me at the moment.

If you do a search on www.google.com for "northside choppers" there is about 379 hits. About 4 hits are for a company in Ark. the rest is this company in ILL.

A number of people have been complaining about the same thing since 2003 - I also received an email from Jackson Wheels of Thunder in which - guess who - Desperado - also ripped them off last year at a show. www.jacksonwheelsofthunder.com is the website if you care to email them and ask of this individual.

At the present, I have been able to talk to the individual however I have yet to receive my money. I have been promised for about 2 months that I would get my money and each time the deadline comes and goes with a new excuse.

Until I receive my money I will continue to go to every internet site that hosts his name or company name and tell my experience. If he ever decides to pay me, then I will also state that. I have been waiting for about 5 months for my money to be returned.

I also sent a postal money order to him back in July 2006 and he cashed the money order within 3 days of it being mailed. He later told me that he never saw the money order. When I told him that I retrieved the money order from the post office and his name was on it, he tap danced around it.

I also contacted the postal inspector who told me that since this was done through the mail system and the individual never sent me my goods that it was considered postal mail fraud and is considered a felony.

If I ever get my money - I will also contact the postal inspector to inform the same. However I have yet to get my money.
