Northwest Airlines NWA.COM does not make all seats available to Customers. You are forced to pay Xtra. a very intesting way to RIP OFF their Customers Internet

Northwest Airlines has found a very intesting way to RIP OFF their Customers. When you book online and try to book your seats, they will only show you middle seats or seats in the last rows, which are not desirable. Their seat plan shows the plane is full and certain desirable seats may be purchased within 24 hours of flight.

I got hosed yesterday when I wanted to upgrade my seat, which was in the middle in a back row. I waited until less than 24 hours until my flight was to depart and then paid $15. for a good seat up front.

When I got on the plane, there were 40 empty seats, all of them FREE seats and included windows and aisles in front rows, which wouldn't have required a paid upgrade. I took a photo of the plane showing all the empty seats. Another Customer and myself brought this to the attention of a Flight Attendant, who apologized to us and said he also thought it was dishonest. He brought this up to the head Flight Attendant and she pretty much said 'tuff s*it'. She said 'doesn't she know we' in bankrupcy?'. It appears that Northwest Airlines has become my charity by force.

I asked for a refund when I got into LA and was just about laughed out of line. I have flown my last flight on NWA. They are dishonest. I plan to file my complaint with the State's Attorney's Office in the state they are located in.

This is not about $15, but about honesty. We are being led to believe that flights are full, so perhaps we book immediately and then must upgrade by paying $15. to get a decent seat.
