In September of 2013, my husband ordered a metal building to be erected at our home. In October of 2013, we learned that it would be an additional six weeks to get this metal bulding. When we didn't hear from Northwest Metal Buildings after the six weeks, we became very suspicious. Then after we called several times, we received no return calls. And when we tried to leave a voicemail the mailbox was always full.
December 26, 2013 we made the decision since after repeated phone calls, numerous times we wanted to cancel our sales order and receive a refund of the $215.00 we put down for a deposit on the metal building. Now we are being told it will take an additional 90 days to get the refund.
After reviewing the BBB (Better Business Burearu) website, we learned that this company has a reputation for jerking customers around on a leash so to speak, they don't return phone calls and they dont deliver products as promised or issue refunds. They avoid their phone. I tried to call and leave a voice mail message, but "dave's" voicemail is always full, it seems he doesn't check or delete messages.
The receptionist informed us that the owner is going through a nasty divorce and I learned that their CCB license expires as of February 2014.
I think this company is going out of business

At West Coast Metal Buildings, we focus on customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, we did not meet your, or our own, expectations. Upon further review of the situation, we narrowed the cause to poor management and ineffective customer service from Northwest Metal Buildings. As a testament to strive for improvement, we have taken steps to ensure that this will not happen again by terminating Northwest Metal Building's dealer contract. Northwest Metal Buildings is no longer eligible to make sales, promote sales, or receive any type of commission from West Coast Metal Buildings. As of January 18, 2014 we discontinued business with Northwest Metal Buildings.
Because of this oversight, we are going to provide you with a 12% Discount from total before taxes. If order is placed directly through us we will deliver and install building(s) ASAP at no charge. Please contact us for more information.

I ordered a carport from this company in September 2013 also; I received a phone call from the manufacturer in early December asking if I still wanted my carport..... they said that NW Metal Buildings had turned my order in mid October after the deadline for 10% off and then cancelled my order with the manufacturer.
I attempted to call NW and never receved a call back or did they anwser any of my e-mails. I finally had to put in a complaint with Discover Card and they went back against PayPal and I got my money back. I'm a lucky one!
