I can be reached at (number removed by ripoffreport.com - to respond, please post a rebuttal or e-mail the EDitor). It is time we fight back. We already have a high power lawyer in place. Our company is in the same position. Equipment was delivered and then that was where it stopped. Could not get a hold of anyone at norvergence. By phone fax or email. A few weeks later they go Belly-up. Now it has only been 3 months since my lease was started and the Leasing company Wells Fargo has already filed a suit to collect the balance of the lease.

I am not Lawyer but this seems a little fishy. I have never seen a bank file suit against some one for be in default for 2 months.

I now have less than 20 days to respond to the suit which was filed in an Iowa court to fight this. Is this even legal?

Has anyone else been served papers from the court claiming that they have breeched there contract with the leasing company and the leasing company is demanding the lease be paid in full?

#15 REBUTTAL Owner of company

President

AUTHOR: Dr. Stephen R. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, August 13, 2004

I signed up with Norvergence, and soon after felt something was wrong, so I cancelled the contract.....soon after, the high pressure started, then Norvergence offered me a 30 month service rather than the standard 60 month contract.

They said I had only a few days to make the decision, but MUST HURRY....just like they knew what was ging on????

After much pressure, and after receiving many phone calls, like a dummy, I accepted.

I even asked them about being approved, as my credit has been severely damaged due to dissabilities...their reply was; hey, everyone is accepted!!

We never received ANY service, except for a magic box, in a box, that is still sitting on the floor of our office.

POSTED: Thursday, August 12, 2004

Cindy did you actually read what you wrote? You are saying that you did a pretty d**n good job.
Of what? Helping Norvergence scam people.

I understand you should have gotten paid but don't sit there and insult the consumer for trusting the employees(yourself included)of Norvergence.

If you are so d**n smart then why did you take a job at this company, did you do your research? You wouldn't have the first clue when it comes to owning a business so keep those thoughts to yourself and worry about getting your money from the company you did such a d**n good job for.

#10 UPDATE Employee

I agree with Mike

AUTHOR: Cindy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 11, 2004

I am an ex employee of NorV and am also just as upset as the many of you out there.... However, Mike from Pittsburgh is right! There were plenty of articles on the internet to warn business owners of how NorV operated. We as ex employees did the job that we were paid to do, put the time and our own personal money into doing our job and I must say, we did a d**n good job of doing it.

If I owned my own business, I know that I would have taken more time to properly review ALL of the paperwork that was put in front of me BEFORE I would have signed anything! It amazed me as to how many business owners NEVER did that; and the ones that did, did not sign! Shame on NorV for pissing the money away and going out of business, but shame on you for putting your own personal business in jeopardy like you did!

You want paid back for the money you put into the service, get in line....keep your fingers crossed....and go to bed at night hoping that you may someday get it....(if that's what helps you sleep better) But, you better get in line behind ME and all of the other employees that deserve the money first!

They got rich by playing you,.....

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, July 25, 2004

They didn't get RICH by ripping you off!!!!,...they got rich by exploiting your laziness and your gullable natures,..the dangled a carrot in front of you, and starting out by saying maybe you couldnt have the carrot, ( of course you could,..everyone could,..that's the joke ! )..

you immediately wanted it even more,..remember folks....EVERY WORD of the Norv meetings WAS SCRIPTED,..scripted to make you think that you were special,.and getting this magic box was special,.....think about it,..you leased an $ 80 piece of equipment for $ 25,000!!?!?!?!?!,..if i walked into your office and offered to sell you a copier for $ 200,000 and told you you'd never have to buy paper again,....would you???

maybe,,,..but you'd p[roabaly ask what's to bind me to give you that free paper for the rest of our lives,...nothing,...so why take the chance,...but if i told you only a lucky FEW could get this $ 200,000 copier and the free paper,..YOU'd JUMP....hmmmmm,...not a bad idea,...anybody know a leasing company and a paper company...?

Norvergence Customer also interested in fighting

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 23, 2004

I am in Mt. Holly and would like to void my lease with GE Capital for equipment I will no longer use now that Norvergence is bankrupt. I would suggest someone with the know how to set up a web site for New Jersey customers. There is a national anti norvergence network forming. Telecommunication Agents of America (TAA) are active as well. Strength in Numbers! I'm in Burlington County.

Dont forget the others to go after

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 23, 2004

Make sure you go after Tom Salzano who is the CMO, don't let this jerk fool you that he says he is a consultant. His brother, Peter. The jerk off was making 400K and his buddy Terry Skemer probably makes well over 200K. They have hidden behind a Sumer Ave trust company. Check out the other officers as well which I shall not name. Please bring these people to justice. Also ask their vendors if their services were actually legitamate; ie phone service. All there vendors as well should sue them for dragging them in the mud with them. IF any ex employee has any information of any wrong doings such as "gray" phone service illegal accounting practices, please contact the authorities such as the FCC, etc.

Norvergence..Matrix box lease

AUTHOR: Albert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, July 23, 2004

We are a company that also got into the 5 year lease with ABB (GE Capital). We woul like to join in fighting back to cancel this lease. I have been told by Ge Capital that we need to keep paying the lease, however we never got the service from Norvergence. They toll me that the two only options I had was ether, buy the equipment or pay off the lease.

Either one will be about $25,000 to $28,000. Can you belived paying for something you are not even using????. We have stop making the monthly payments. Due to ripoff website policy, I have not been able to get your contact info. However I already send and email to the editor, providing them with my info. LET'S FIGHT BACK........
