I am a current student at this school.

In september, chef notter, the namesake of the school, was trespassed from the property due to taking equipment without permission, and an issue with the director of the school. Also at this time BOTH chefs/instructors at the school resigned.  For the following week we had NO instructors, but were still required to attend classes daily. We ended up going to a convention show on one day, and having a person show us photography the next, using equipment that is not even within the past 6 years.  A new chef was hired, but the instructor was required to purchase all of the needed supplies due to the school not having them. 

At the end of October(10/31/2012), Beverly, the school director, stepped down.  so that chef notter could return, as the on going court case between him and her, would not allow him to be at the school.  On Saturday(11/03/2012), the school claimed that there was a robbery that severely damaged the school.  However, there was no notification that the school was closed.  in addition, there is no visible damage to the school. 

On November 8th, the school changed the greeting on the phone to reflect veterans day holiday, and has not changed it back, nor are they answering the phone at all.

In addition, the school's accredidation, thru ACCET is in serious question, which means federal financial aid is in doubt.  ACCET has stated it will probably not reapprove it. 

As of this posting the school will have been closed for two(2) weeks, with no signs of reopening.  If the school does reopen I would not recommend consideration at this time to do various issues going with it.  however, i would keep an open mind in a year or two.
