I received a small brochure in the mail about a weight loss program from a company called Novartis.  Now, all or many of you have heard of a true pharmaceutical company called Novartis, as have I, so I immediately was taken in by the name.

However, I began reading the brochure, and the language was so poor, it appeared to have been written by someone sicnot in control of the english language, which made me wonder about this company.  For instance, on one page titled "Top 6 Reasons to Try It":

3.  ...(life is too short to deprive your self off(sic) the things you love)

4.  You don't have too(sic) spend money on bland, prepackaged meals

and in the next section:

According to a survey by the Hiris poll (Harris Poll?) 58% of Americans have made serious a forked to lose weight (that's what it said, honestly).

So, I thought about it and Googled the name of the product, and could not find it except as an oat bran of some kind for cholesterol, not weight loss.  I looked and Googled over and over, and could not find the product.  When I went to the legitimate Novartis website, there was nothing anywhere about this product.    Then I decided to google the name of one of the supposed owners, Allen Gregory-Mitchell, and up popped this complaint about somebody not getting their product or their money back.

So, beware, and don't even think about buying this product unless you want to get ripped off.    These are their prices for this grapefruit weight loss program

30 tablets to lose 7 to 15 pounds   $49.95

60 tablets to lose 15 to 30 pounds  $69.95

and so on to  150 tablets to lose 60 pounds or more   $109.95

Their telephone number per the brochure is 1-800-457-4095.

Nutrim

I can't speak yea or nay about their weight loss claims however, my mom has serious digestive issues and most over the counter products, including the very expensive ones, do not help her. Nutrim works very well for her digestive issues and it's cheaper than most products she's tried. If you read the ingredients it's made up of natural fiber products which would naturally lead to some weight loss by helping your system to eliminate more efficiently. BTW, thanks for including their phone number in your complaint so we could order more. :)
